Basheer Murder case: 2 more culprits held

Mangaluru 15 Jan 2018: The CCB police on Sunday, Jan 14 arrested two more accused in connection with the killing of Basheer who was killed after he was attacked in retaliation to the murder of Deepak, an RSS activist, on January 3. The accused have been identified as Lateesh (24) and Pushparaj (23) both residents of Kasargod. The police had earlier arrested four in connection with the case. Meanwhile interrogation, the details of Lateesh and Pushparaj were revealed and following which both of them were arrested. Basheer was brutally assaulted when he was winding up his days business of his fast food restaurant at Kottara Chowki at night on Jan 3. This murderous act couldn't led survive him. He passed away four days later at a private hospital in Mangaluru. Accused were handed over to Kavoor Police for further investigation. Police believe, this was the revenge of murder of Deepak, an RSS activist on same afternoon. CCB inspector Shantharam, PSI Shyamsunder along with other Police personnel were a part of the arrest operation.
