Bank employee accuses Bhatkal MLA of physical assault on him, MLA denies

Bhatkal - PLD Bank employees and Congress workers created chaos after one of the bank employee Dinesh Naik registered a case against Bhatkal MLA Mr J D Naik for alleged assault on him. The situation was brought under control after police intervention.

According to sources, PLD Bank President Mr Ishwar Naik called Dinesh Naik in his chamber where Bhatkal MLA Mr J D Naik was already there and both of them allegedly assaulted Dinesh Naik with slippers.

Meanwhile, congress leaders called up a press meet and defended the MLA and denied his involvement in this incident. They said it is a plot against Congress and MLA's name was simply dragged in this case to malign his image.

Cases from both parties have been registered in Bhatkal Town Police Station and the investigations are on.
