B N Krishnaiah takes charge as the new DC of Uttar Kannada

Karwar - B N Krishnaiah on Monday took charge as a new Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Kannada district. He hails from Mulbagal of Kolar district. Prior to this assignment he was in Chief Minister's office. In 1985-86, he was served as an Assistant Commissioner in DC's office at Karwar. Speaking to media persons after assuming office, he said his office will always remain open for the people during office hours and he will be in touch with the media to know about the problems faced by the people in the district. He also said that he will work under the guidance of district in-charge minister and people's representatives and try to to solve the problems effectively.
