Aztex NPL begins on Friday

Unique 5-team T20 League to be played over 4 weeks Dubai: Bhatkal Community T20 action is all set to begin on Friday in Ajman as the inaugural Aztex Nawayath Premier League (NPL) kicks off with an exciting match between Abu Dhabi Riders and Karimi Challengers. The first match in the 5-team tournament will begin at 2pm on January 4, while the opening ceremony will be held at 5pm on the same day. The tournament will be played in a round robin format with all teams playing against the other and the top two teams clashing in the final for the top prize. Some of the biggest cricketing names from Bhatkal and its vicinity will be participating in a scintillating display of their skills. “Aztex NPL is offering cricket fans from the community a new platform to enjoy the game that will be played in all fairness. We are glad that our community members will have another fun-filled opportunity to play the game and enjoy the time together. We hope to see crowds in large numbers,” said Shafaat Shahbandari, Convenor Aztex NPL.
