Awareness rally on children's education

May 26, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: In a bid to create awareness on education for children and to persuade parents who are reluctant to send their children to school, a rally was organised by New Shams English Medium School Bhatkal here on Thursday. Bhatkal BEO V B Patgar flagged off the rally at 9-30 am at Public Chabutra near Old Bus Stand and the rally, passing through - Sultan Street, Chowk Bazar, Marikatte, Main Road - terminated at the originating point. School secretary Talha Siddibapa, Maulana Azeezur Rehman, Mohammed Raza Manvi and other staff participated in the rally. The students carried banners and placards on the importance of educating the children and also shouted similar slogans in English, Urdu and Kannada language. - ARF
