Attempt to kidnap 7 year old child foiled

Bhatkal – An attempt to kidnap 7 year old boy from his house compound in Azad Nagar area was foiled due to timely action from the family members. According to the sources, a boy identified as Syed Ibrahim s/o Noorul Hussain was playing with her sister outside his house at 5:00 pm when two youths on a bike kidnapped the boy and disappeared from the scene. But the timely action from the family members forced the kidnappers to abandon the boy at remote location. The boy was found abandoned within 15 minutes. A case has been registered at Bhatkal rural police station and the investigation is on. After this incident, people are very much concerned about the safety of their children and feeling unsafe at their homes.
