NEW DELHI : Television anchor and journalist Arnab Goswami’s ordeals do not seem to be getting over. The Republic TV founder encountered comedian Kunal Kamra yet again on his flight back from Lucknow on Wednesday. On Tuesday, Kamra had accosted him when flying to the Uttar Pradesh capital, filming the entire incident and posting the same on social media, where he called Goswami out for his journalism, calling him a ‘coward’ among other things. “FYI - Arnab Goswami was in my flight again this morning while returning from Lucknow... I again asked him politely if he wants to have an honest discussion he with his verbal arrogant hand jester he asked me to move away and I did that," Kamra tweeted on Wednesday morning. Following the incident, IndiGo, the flight that the two were on, suspended Kamra from flying the airline for a period of six months, calling his conduct onboard unacceptable. Hereby, we wish to advise our passengers to refrain from indulging in personal slander whilst onboard, as this can potentially compromise the safety of fellow passengers," the airline had tweeted. Government-owned enterprise Air India too has barred Kamra from availing its services. “In view of the incident onboard IndiGo, Air India wishes to inform that conduct of person concerned is unacceptable. With a view to discourage such behavior onboard flights, Mr Kunal Kamra is suspended from flying on any Air India flight until further notice," the airline tweeted. SpiceJet and GoAir too have taken a call on the incident. “SpiceJet has decided to suspend Mr. Kunal Kamra from flying with the airline till further notice," the airline tweeted. “GoAir has suspended Mr. Kunal Kamra from flying with the airline till further notice," the company said. Users on Twitter have been divided in their opinion on the incident, some terming it as an act of courage and others, a source of harassment for Goswami. Source: Livemint
