NEW DELHI: As expected, Apple has sent out invitations for an event scheduled on September 9 at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, California. The invite does not reveal much except for a message that reads, "Wish we could say more."
Apple is expected to announce the two new iPhones and a wearable device at the event.
According to various leaks and rumours, the company will unveil iPhone models with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays. Leaked images images suggest that the next-generation iPhone will be much thinner than the iPhone 5S and have rounded edges.
Other rumoured features of the next-generation iPhone include health-centred apps, 13MP camera, solar charging, scratch-resistant sapphire screen and faster Wi-Fi.
As per a new report, Apple is also planning to announce its first wearable on September 9. The device is likely to be the much rumoured iWatch.
It will likely make use of Apple's new HealthKit and HomeKit platforms to deliver fitness, health and other functions.
