Another stray dog attack reported in Bhatkal; this time 70 year old woman sustain injuries

Bhatkal 19 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) In yet another reported incident of dog-attack, a 70-year-old  woman was attacked by a stray dog in Hurulisaal, near Masjid Ahmed Saeed on Wednesday 19 September. Victim Tajunnisa Barmawar was attacked by a stray dog in her backyard around 8 am on Wednesday, after which she sustained multiple bite injuries on one of her hand. She was taken to Taluka government hospital in Bhatkal for treatment. Incidents of stray dogs mauling people have lately been on rise and has turned into a serious issue. People have demanded administration's immediate attention and to come up with adequate solution. Earlier, when eight stray dogs' attack were reported in a week, Bhatkal TMC Chief officer Venkatesh Navadu while speaking to Bhatkallys.com had urged people to avoid dumping garbage on the streets to address the issue.
