Annual General Meeting of Bhatkal Taluka Panchayat: Discussion on various issues

Bhatkal: August 28, 20 (Bhatkal News Bureau) Bhatkal Taluka Panchayat General Meeting was held on Thursday at Taluka Panchayat Hall in which issues like eradication of fear and panic among the people through Corona and attention to public grievances were discussed.
On this occasion, a member of the taluka panchayat said that the fear of corona is so high among the people that they do not even want to go to the doctors for treatment of seasonal fever and cold. He said that the wave of fear among the people should be removed and government officials should work for the confidence of the people.
Responding to this, the THO said that there was no need for the people to be scared as the government has provided many facilities to remove fear from the hearts. He said that now if someone's report is positive in Corona and he wants to be isolated at home, then based on the extent of the disease, he is also being allowed. The THO also said that public support was needed to eradicate Corona.
Speaking on the occasion, BEO Devi Das Mogir said that the government has come up with various forms of education for the benefit of the children, including providing education to the students at home. He also said that complaints of non-tuition fees were received from some private schools which would be acted upon.
In addition, many issues were discussed on the occasion and the officers were asked to take action.
