Anjuman teacher wins award

Bhatkal - Sayeeda Banu, the head mistress of Anjuman Girls High School was awarded the best teacher award for the Karwar District on the occasion of Teachers day.
The award was instituted by the Karwar Department of Education, elevating its stature and importance.
Sayeeda, who has been working as a teacher for the last 33 years has been credited with bringing 100 per cent pass result in students writing the SSLC examinations.
Her previous awards include
- Bhatkal Rotary Club Best Teacher award
- Meritorious Award from Anjuman Hami-E-Muslimeen (1996 and 1998)
- Taluka level Best Teacher Award in 2008 from Education Department
Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen congratulated Sayeeda for her momentous achievement and expressed its best wishes in making her work successful and rewarding for all students.
