Anjuman students to benefit from new MoU with Mysuru company

Bhatkal 15 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) Bhatkal on Monday signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GT&TC), which will open the doors of opportunities for the students of AITM, under the observation of Government of Karnataka.
GT&TC was established in the year 1972 at Bangalore with the participation of the Karnataka State Government, in collaboration with the Government of Denmark under the Bilateral Development Co-operation Agreement.The excellent performance of GTTC Bangalore, proactive Government of Karnataka which saw the need for expansion, got second unit of GT&TC started in 1992 with DANIDA assistance.
Proliferation of technology for development of the industries with supply of skilled manpower is the key to meet the needs of the global requirement. With this Government of Karnataka encouraged GT&TC to start 10 more sub-centres to train in the area of tool and die making in various parts of Karnataka including Mysuru.

Speaking to Bhatkallys.com after signing the MoU, AITM Principal Mushtaq Ahmed Bavikatte, expressed his pleasure over the signing and added that it will provide more opportunities in Internships, Industrial visits and Employment for the students of AITM.
"It is a Government sponsored scheme under which there are many more sub-schemes and opportunities to enhance the skills of students under the program. Government spent over 500 crore rupees on each centres of GT&TC with a vision of empowering and enhancing skills of younger generation and to help them secure their dream jobs etc"
"I am very happy on achieving this milestone for out AITM, and I wish all our students will participate, make use and get benefited by the schemes, programs and opportunities it will provide for us" Mushtaq added.
Anjuman Management also welcomed the move and congratulated the staff and faculty of the college on the signing and several members of the management including President Abdul Rahim Jukaku, General Secretary Ismail Siddique, Degree and PU College board secretary Mohsin Shabandri and others were present during the signing ceremony.
