Anjuman students return with bagful of medals from Karnatak University Weight Lifting, Power Lifting and Best Physique Competition

Bhatkal 24 October 2019: Students of Anjuman Arts Science Commerce College and PG Center Bhatkal, achieved big at Karnatak University Dharwad Intercollegiate Weight Lifting, Power Lifting and Best Physique Competition Held at Department of Physical Education, Sports and Games Kridabhavan Karnatak University,Dharwad on 21 and 22 October. Mohammad Ruman s/o Mohammed Khalid Udyavar of B.Com Vth semester, bagged Silver Medal in Weight Lifting in 61kg Category, and Silver Medal in Power Lifting, 66 kg category. Mohammed Fuvez s/o Riyaz Ahmed Karimi of B.COM III semester, bagged Gold Medal in Weightlifting of 89 kg Category and Silver Medal in Power Lifting at 93 kg category. Mohammed Tabrez s/o Abdul Majid Shaikh of B.COM III semester, won Gold Medal in Weight Lifting at 67kg category. Vinayak Naik s/o Venkatramana Naik of B.A I semester, bagged Silver Medal at Best Physique completion in 70kg category. The management and Staff of college congratulated the student for their achievement at the University level and lauded the efforts of Physical Director and his support staff in guiding the students in achieving the feat.
