Anjuman student awarded university blue in shuttle badminton

29 Sep 2015 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: In a moment of pride for Anjuman and Bhatkalis, a final year student of Anjuman Degree College Bhatkal, Jasim Fakerdey, has been awarded with University Blue in shuttle badminton competition. A resident of Nagappa Naik Road in Bhatkal, Jasim was awarded University Blue after he achieved the feat of outsmarting 60 athletes in the university team. He has now reserved his place for a university level competition to be held in Chennai. On this achievement, Anjuman President, General Secretary and other members congratulated him and wished him good for his future endeavours. A Blue is an award earned by sportsmen and women at a university and some schools for competition at the highest level. - ARF
