Anjuman PU girls propose solution to sewage issues at AITM fest

Bhatkal 5 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) An adequate solution to the an issue which is haunting a number of homes and residents in Bhatkal for several years now (sewage management) was proposed by a group of four students of Anjuman Pre-University College for Girls at the STEM 18 fest organised at AITM Bhatkal on November 5 Monday. Several science models models were presented at the 'Model Expo' of the fest, but what caught the eye of most of the audience was a model presented by the girls of Anjuman PU College, wherein they had proposed an idea of how sewage water, with proper management can be converted and used for several other purposes including to water the plants and flowers, while also saving the drinkable water that goes in for that purpose everyday. "With proper management of the water, it can be scientifically converted for using in for several other purposes" one of the girl added while speaking to media. CLICK HERE to see more photos from STEM '18 Another project that caught everyone's attention was an 'Gesture controlled bot' which after sensing any obstacle/material would apply automatic brakes into the vehicles, and one which would be affordable to all. The students of Anjuman Pre-University college for boys who presented the model claimed that implementing the model in vehicles would atleast bring down the number of road accidents by 10%. A group of students from presented 'Li-Fi' project an light based internet service which can provide internet faster than wi-fi and can reach speed up to 100 GB/sec with more security than wi-fi.
