Anjuman office-bearers election on July 27

Bhatkal: Meeting to elect the office-bearers of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen for the next four years will be held on July 27. It may be recalled that a new executive committee has been elected who will choose the new office-bearers. For the post of president, Damda Hassan Shabber, former general secretary and who has more than 4 decades of selfless service dedicated to Anjuman and Jukaku Abdurrahim, the outgoing general secretary under whom Anjuman institutions saw impressive academic results in the last many years are the hot favourites. Ismail Siddique, the outgoing additional general secretary and Mohammed Ansar Kashimji, outgoing senior vice-president, both highly dedicated to the cause of Anjuman, are the names that are being considered for the post of general secretaryship.

Besides these two prime posts, there are 10 others positions which need to be filled up.
