Anjuman launches special scholarship for bright students

Bhatkal - 19 April 2011: Anjuman General Secreatary Mr Abdul Rahim Jukaku recently announced the introduction of special merit scholarship schemes for admissions of bright students in Anjuman institutions from this year.
He said the main objective of this scheme is to encourage bright students to pursue higher education in Anjuman institutions without financial constraints. This scheme, which is followed by many institutions of repute, is intended to help attract better students to Anjuman institutions and improve the college academic environment.The admissions of academically bright students can have better effect on other normal students who will endeavour to follow these merited students in academic achievements. These merit scholarship and concession is applicable to all eligible intending applicants to Anjuman institutions from all communities irrespective of their cast, creed and religion.
The highlights of this scheme are as follows,
- Merited PUC applicants for admission to Anjuman PUC colleges (for both men and women) whose total percentage marks is 70% or more in Xth Standard will be given 50% concession in Annual tuition and development fees.
- Merited applicants for admissions to Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management, Bhatkal for B.E. Degree course and MBA course will be given following fees concessions.
- Any student who scores within 5000 Karnataka CET ranking is exempted from paying Annual tuition fees.
- Students whose CET ranking is between 5000 to 10,000 will get 50% concession in Annual tuition fees.
- Students who score more than 90% in PCM in qualifying examination is exempted from paying Annual tuition fees under Management quota.
Please note that Anjuman does not collect any donation or development fees for B.E. Degree and MBA courses.

These concessional fees structure is in addition to other scholarship schemes of Anjuman as detailed below:
For Anjuman Anglo Urdu High School and Anjuman Girls High School about 500 economically weaker students get full free ship for tuition and development fees, for books and uniforms.
- All students of Anjuman who score 90% and above in their Xth, PUC or Degree courses are given 100% free scholarship in tuition and development fees for pursuing any higher course in Anjuman institution.
- Shamshuddin Memorial Scholarship is awarded giving full tuition fees concession for studying B.Ed course in Anjuman College of Education for any Muslim student who gives an undertaking to serve Anjuman institution as teacher for a minimum period of five years as per Anjuman salary scale.
- Any Bhatkally Muslim student who takes admission in Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management for B.E. or MBA course under management quota is given 50% concession in tuition fees.
He requested all Anjuman members to promote and recommend admissions of bright students to Anjuman Institutions so that better academic environment and atmosphere will ensure quality education in our institutions.
He also requested all people of Bhatkal to pray Almighty Allah for Anjuman's progress in achieving its goals of providing value based education to the community.
