Anjuman executives and NRIs visit renovated computer lab at IAUHS

Bhatkal 31 August 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Anjuman Executive members and NRI members on Thursday paid a visit to the newly renovated computer lab at IAUHS Bhatkal campus.
The renovated lab consist of 15 high-tech computers for students to work on and the walls of the lab are decorated with signage about computers and social media, in an creative manner, giving the students an insight about the history, characteristics and operations of social media and new technologies.
The members who visited the lab, lauded the efforts of the team in coming up with such innovative ideas to attract students towards the lab.
The lab of 15 high-tech computers is built at a cost of approximately just over three lac rupees using NComputing technology, under the supervision of Mohsin Shabandri, which also includes projector is also installed for playing the digital content.
Abdul Rahman Siddiqui, who was also part of the team that visited the lab thanked the Ajuman alumni UAE chapter for partly contributing to the funding of the lab, and hoped that such technologies and labs will soon be introduced in other high schools of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, while also appreciating the efforts by the developing team led by Mohsin Shabandri.
Another member of the delegation Abdul Rahim Patel expressed his contentment after watching students practice computer in the new lab and congratulated the school and team while also hoping of positive results.
Anjum Kola, Divisional head of a leading firm in KSA and an Anjuman Alumni, was also 'impressed' with the lab and wished for its success.
Other members of the delegation also lauded the manner in which the lab was built and were surprised to know the cost of the lab being just around Rs. 3 lac, including 15 computers using NComputing, a projector and signage on the walls.
Muntazir Ruknuddin, Anjuman School Board Secretary Abdul Wajid Kola and others were also part of the delegation.
Anjuman has been witnessing a change in technological advancement lately and has been introducing new technologies both for the betterment of the students and the management members, one of the most experienced IT professional of the community Mohsin Shabandri has been leading the way for the organisation ever since he retired from Etihad Airways as the innovation manager.
