Anjuman Engineering College student killed in a road accident

Bhatkal - 26 Aug 2012: Anjuman Engineering College Student, Praveen Kumar (21) s/o Naresh Singh hailing from Gaya, Bihar died in a road accident near Pushpanjali theatre cross on NH-66 today morning. According to the sources, he went to receive his friend from Bhatkal railway station, while coming back, his bike skidded near the junction as the road was slippery due to heavy overnight rain and he fell down on the highway. It is believed that, a lorry might have ran over when he fell down on the middle of the road. He was immediately rushed to Welfare Hospital where he was declared brought dead and later shifted to Govt Hospital.

A case has been registered at Bhatkal police station and the investigation is going on.
