Anjuman conducts 'Touchstone Training Program - 2010'

Bhatkal - In a bid to equip teachers with modern methods of teaching and to inspire and empower them to bring about a distinct change in behavior and practices of teaching, Anjuman has conducted 'Touchstone Teacher's Training Program - 2010' here at Islamia Anglo Urdu High School, Bhatkal.This training programme was conducted for only 60 selected teachers of Anjuman Primary and High School. (30 female teachers from Primary Schools and 30 male teachers form High Schools).
Providing the details of this program, Anjuman General Secretary Mr Abdul Raheem Jukaku said, 'Touchstone - 2010 is a 7 to 9 month program with 10 integrated workshops interspersed with intensive, personalized school based support. It has been designed as a refurbished course to generate synergy for tangible improvement in the 'Teaching - Learning' transactions in schools. It ensures visible outcomes in student learning.'
'We are planning to extend this training program to other teachers and also to PUC College lecturers.' He added.
With this kind of programs, Anjuman is expecting improvement in quality of education in its Institutions.
This program was sponsored by Markaz Al Navayath, Abu Dhabi.
Mr Jukaku has also appealed the people to come forwards and provide monetary support so that this program can be extended to other teaching faculty.The expenses for a batch of 30 teachers will be around two lakh rupees. He said.
