Anjuman Centenary celebrations to begin from January, to continue till end of 2019

Bhatkal 21 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Popular educational institution of the Coastal Karnataka Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Bhatkal which is due to celebrate it's centenary celebrations from January 2019, called a press conference at it's Jukaku Shamsuddin administrative block at Anjumanabad to brief media-persons about it's plan of celebrating centenary celebrations over a period of one year.   Established in 1919 with a humble beginning of a primary school grew into a cluster of educational institutions over the years and has built reputation as one of the leading educational institution not only in Uttara Kannada district but also surrounding areas. "Our founding members M.M Siddique and I.H Siddique and F.A Hassan had a vision to bring the benefits of Education to the community for its social, economic and political upliftment". convener of the event Abdul Raqeeb MJ added during the press conference. "It all started with a primary school. and 100 years later we have progressed as much as offering Ph.D in engineering. So it is time to celebrate our achievements, services and progress" Ishaq Shabandri, Addition GS of the organisation added while speaking to media. Anjuman also has planned to honor Executive members and its staffs for their meritorious services to the organisation and will also project achievements and success stories of some of its alumni during the course of celebration, while an exhibition outlining the progress and milestones of Anjuman will be arranged and a book will also be published 'The history of founding, progress, growth and achievements of Anjuman'. Various committees have been formed to oversee the arrangements to make this celebration participative. Briefing about the plans/events that will be part of the celebrations, convener Raqeeb MJ added "The celebrations will commence in the first week of January 2019 and extend over up to the end of year 2019, and will include arranging functions, conducting seminars, workshops, quiz competition about education and history of Anjuman, Sports and games tournaments will take place inviting students from Bhatkal and surrounding areas".
