Anjuman Alumni launches "Let's Read" project at IAUHS

Bhatkal Anjuman Alumni Bhatkal (AAB) today launched it 'Let's Read' project at IAUHS as a pilot project. With the aim to inculcate reading habits in the students, Under this project a set of books intended for quick reading was given to the school which would be utilised by the students during their off periods.
Aftab Kola, eminent Journalist working with Oman Time, was the Cheif Guest of the function. He advised the students to make it a habit to read books other than the prescribed caricullum books.
Presiding over the function Abdur Rehman Batin Saheb, Secretary, Anjuman School Board, said that he sees his dream coming true in this project. He always wanted the students to develop the habit of reading and he sees that this project will surely help the students towards this. He also congratulated the AAB for coming up with such a novel project.
Dr. Afaaque Lanka, President, AAB, gave a brief introduction as to the purpose of this project. Anfal Ruknuddin, Vice President, AAB, Shabbir Dafedar, HM, IAUHS, Librarian Nayeem and other staffs of IAUHS were also present at the function.
A beautiful welcome speech and vote of thanks were given by the 9th standard students.
