Anjuman Alumni Bhatkal conducts career guidance lectures

Bhatkal, 10th Feb.: The Anjuman Alumni Bhatkal (AAB) conducted a series of career guidance lectures for the 10th students who would be appearing to SSLC exams this year. Dr Afaaque Lanka president AAB, Mr. Yaseen Kasargod Ex-Lecturer AEC and Imran Kola proprietor Xellent Tutorials were the part of the group who visited IAUHS, ABHS and IAUHS Nawayath Colony and addressed the students on saturday and sunday. They are scheduled to visit the Shams English Medium High School next week for the same.
Dr. Afaaque Lanka counselled the students on selecting a career based on their interests, skills and passion and not just because of their friends’ choices or peer pressure. He hi-lighted the different paths one should take after completing 10th, depending their set career objective and aim. He stressed the importance of selecting the right option in PUC, appropriate to the career they want to go in to.
Mr. Yaseen Kasargod interacted with the students about the value and importance of education. He guided them towards proper time management and goal setting. He hi-lighted about the importance of identifying ones strength and ones weakness and work towards improving the weakness.
AAB secretary Aftab Qamri said that AAB is planning to hold these types of sessions and have regular interactions with students. They are also planning to hold personality development lecturers for the undergraduates before the end of this month.
