10th Nov 2013 |  Bhatkallys News Hyderabad: The old students of Anjuman Engineering College arranged a get together in Hyderabad on 8, 9 and 10th of November 2013. About 100 Alumni of AEC from all over India and abroad met at Ramoji City.
The General Secretary of Anjuman Hami-E-Muslimeen, Abdul Rahim Jukaku and Principal AITM, Dr. Udaya Prasanna attended the function. Many old students right from the first batch who joined AEC in 1980 attended the get together. It is a pride and credit to Anjuman that many of the Alumni of Anjuman Engineering College are now either successful business men or occupy senior position in reputed organisations. They recollected their good memories about AEC and expressed appreciation of the quality of engineering education they received at AEC and expressed that whatever they have now achieved in life is due to the education and training they received at AEC.
Anjuman General Secretary and Principal AITM addressed them and informed them about recent advancement and improvements made in improving quality of engineering education at AITM by improving the infra structure and providing latest teaching aids like digital library, Campus wifi, new workshop machinery and equipment. He informed about the new courses and research centres of AITM opened recently. He sought the co-operation of Alumni in helping us to recruit qualified and experienced faculty and promote our institution for admissions and for placement of Anjuman graduates. They also sought their support in offering the services of qualified Alumni in conducting seminars and workshops for imparting soft skills for students and training faculty to teach better. Their help in funding for improving the quality of education and providing residential infrastructure for faculty was also sought.
The members of Alumni responded generously by announcing that they will be funding for constructing a Canteen building immediately and promised to help in preparing a Master plan for future and help in implementing it over a period of three to four years to take up further projects to improve the quality of engineering education at AITM.
Anjuman thanks all the members of AEC Alumni for inviting the General Secretary and Principal and for coming forward with their solid support for their Alma Mater.
