Angry Mutahalli residents submit memorandum to AC

5th June 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Residents of Mutahalli gram panchayat today submitted a memorandum to the Assistant commissioner (AC) on contamination of well water in their locality with waste water from a near-by noodles factory. They have claimed in the memorandum that the waste water from the factory has mixed with underground water and the contamination has spread to all the wells in the locality rendering the water unsuitable for drinking and has also spread diseases of various kinds. They have demanded the AC to immediately look into the matter and take action at the earliest. The AC has assured them that he will take prompt action on this matter.
