Angry Chautani residents once again protest against construction of LPG warehouse

15th June 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: After hearing the news of Panchayat offering permission to construct LPG warehouse in Chautani, the furious residents of Chautani once again assembled at the Tahsildar's office. They alleged misconduct on Panchayat's part in their saying that the construction site is not within the 100 meter distance from school and said that in reality the construction site is within 100 meters distance from the school. They have requested Tahsildar to himself come and measure the distance. However, the person constructing the warehouse has said that they will build a road over there and no one will face any trouble because of it. The issue has been deferred till the time the Tahsildar completes his findings.
