ANFA crush USFA by 81 runs to win Lion Trophy 2015

December 13, 2015 | Rizwan Gangavaly | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Powered by half centuries each from Imran Lanka and Abdul Bari Khateeb ANFA registered a mammoth 81-run win over a toothless USFA in the final match of the Lion Trophy 2015 held on Sunday. Imran Lanka struck 54 runs off 26 balls and Abdul Bari smashed 63 off 42 to put ANFA in the driving seat in the crucial contest with a massive score of 231 in 20 overs. In reply, despite a fighting 64 run from Akbar, USFA managed to score only 150 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. In the closing ceremony, winner team, the runners-up team, man of the match, and outstanding players were awarded trophy and cash prizes. - ARF
