Anant Kumar Hegde promises employment to Deepak Rao's brother

Bhatkallys News Bureau Mangaluru 20 Jan 2018: Union Minister for Skill Development, Anant Kumar Hegde visited slain Deepak Rao's residence here at Katipalla on January 18, Thursday and offered condolence to the family, over their son's murder. Hegde promised employment to Deepak's brother Satish (26) at the Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited (KIOCL). Satish is said to be impaired both in hearing and speech and is currently dependent on the family income for his daily expenditure. The offer comes on the heels of CM Siddaramiah who had directed officials to give Satish job at the Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited or any other government job. Hegde also personally offered Rs 25,000 as a compensation to the family. Deepak was brutally murdered in broad daylight on January 3.
