AMP Bangalore holds career guidance session for 10th and 12th Std students

Banglaore: AMP Bangalore chapter was welcomed by an enthusiastic and energetic group of over 50 students of class 10th and 12th of Excellent English School, Bangalore who were curious to know what are the avenues for them after their exams in BPO and KPO sector. The session started with an introduction of AMP and its contribution to the society - by Afaq Ahmed, Member from Bangalore Chapter followed by an introduction from the team of IT professionals. Students were happy to see Gaurav from Infosys, Smita from HP and Shweta who was with Accenture and now an entrepreneur. All have shared their corporate journey and challenges they have faced and how they got succeeded in their lives so far. The session started with powerful infographic and a video on job market. This was soon followed by a ninety minutes of highly interactive talk on job opportunities in BPO, KPO and Admin. Madhu Tejas, speaker for the day succeeded in getting every student connected to him in few minutes of talking. He interacted with every student and made them share what they want to be in their lives. He made student understand the power of WHY to do something than HOW to do it. He spoke about KPO, BPO and growth and job market of these sectors in India. He showed all students how to create personal curriculum vitae and shared few templates. Overwhelming feedback was received by students, teachers and principal who called up to let us know how grateful they were to the entire team which succeeded in guiding the young minds. Giving them confidence to face the new phase of their lives in corporate world. Session was concluded with AMP Career Chart explanation by Afaq Ahmed and importance of setting goals in life by Gaurav from Infosys.
