"All the houses in Bhatkal will be electrified by December 2018" says HESCOM Bhatkal division Assistant Engineer during Grahakara Adalat

Bhatkal 16 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) HESCOM Department on Saturday conducted meeting with public headed by Assistant Engineer of Bhatkal Division Manjunath on 15 September here at the HESCOM office of Bhatkal. Speaking to the public assistant engineer informed that the department is planning to complete the task of electrifying all the houses by December 2018 as a part of the programme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “We have received notice from central government instructing us to electrify all the houses with in march 2019, we have planned to complete the task in our Taluka by December 2018 and the tender process regarding the matter is also under way” he added. He later informed about the public that various electric polls and wires will be replaced especially in rural areas as most of polls are too old and the wires junctions have been reportedly rusted.
