All India Mushaira held in Qatar

Qatar, Feb 20, 2011 (Bhatkallys News):ANJUMAN Mohibban-e-Urdu Hind, a socio-literary organisation working for the promotion of Urdu language, organised their 5th All India Mushaira ( literary symposium) at, Ramada Hotel`s Giwana Hall attended by highest number of audience This event was supported by Internationa Bank of Qatar, is part of events for celebration of India`s 62nd Republic Day.

A galaxy of literay luminaries like Irfan Jaafri, Mumtaz Rashid, Asir Burhanpuri, Ashok Sahil, Rahi Bastavi, Rana Tabassum, Rahmatullah Achanak, Sufian Kazi, Suhail Saaquib, Azm Shakri, Waheed Typical, Mansoor Aazmi from India enthralled the lovers of urdu poetry in Qatar with their recitation of poems.

S.M. Ashraf a noted poet and an IAS officer presided over the function. The Indian Ambassador to Qatar was the chief guest while Aasif Azmi, a well known journalist from delhi was the guest of honour. Sanjiv Kohli, Minister in Indian Embassy, Mohd. Qureshi, Second Secretary, Chardra Mohan Pillai, International Bank of Qatar and Abdul Karim Chougule, President Indian Benevolent Fund, Harish Mangnani, GM Mega Mart, brighten the evening with their presence.

The Presence of HE Anil Wadhwa, Ambassador of India in Oman and HE Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa, Ambassador of India in Doha Qatar (Husaband and Wife duo)have added extra elegance to this Mushaira.
