AITM's 2-day seminar on Industrial Automation kicked off

Bhatkal: National level workshop on Industrial Automation- PLC & SCADA commenced at Anjuman Engineering College in Bhatkal in cooperation with premier Engineering organisation, Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai on 7th November 2015..
Delivering the keynote address on the inauguration of two day workshop on Industrial Automation, Speaker and Resource person Sayed Mohammed Asadurrahman gave a brief introduction about Industrial Automation and explained the need for adapting to emerging trends in industrial automation. He also stressed few points on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and SCADA (Supervisory control and data acquisition) and also explained how automation became the mainstay of all industries.
Janab Kasimji Ansar, General Secretary spoke on the need of Automation in Industry to be competitive. Additional GS Mr. Ismail Siddique, Secretary Asif Damudi, Principal of AITM Dr. Mushtaque Bhavikatti, Director of Research Dr. Udayaprasanna, Vice Principal Mr.Phalchandra and other faculty members were present
President of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Abdur Raheem Jukaku addressed the audience and said that the main objective of conducting Industrial Automation workshop is to bring awareness among students to acquire employable skills before they graduate. He stressed the need of all Research and development should be to focus on most relevant technology for the betterment of basic needs especially for rural areas.
Anjuman conducts such workshops not only in Engineering College but also in other Institutions of higher learning to improve the standard of education in Anjuman Institutions.
