Airport for Karwar in State Budget 2017-18

Bhatkallys News Service | March 15, 2017 BANGALORE -  Karwar is among three places in Karnataka identified to construct a new airport. This was revealed by  Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who also holds Finance portfolio,  presenting  the State budget for 2017-18 in the State Legislative Assembly  today.   Other airports will be  built at  Madikeri and Chikkamagaluru. The airport would boost the commercial prospectus in and around Karwar as it has a port, rail and road connections. More details awaited.
