AIMPLB Signature Campaign launched in Kumta

Kumta October 25 2016/ Sajjad Quazi: North Kanara Muslim United Forum in association with Kumta Jamat-ul-Muslimeen Launched an All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) signature campaign which is being held nation-wide, against the central Government’s proposal of Uniform Civil code.
Several Prominent Personalities from Bhatkal attended the event, including Moulana Khwaja Mohiddin Akrami Madani, Qazi Khalifa Jamat-ul Muslimeen Bhatkal, who was the chief guest for the event. Other names which were present during the course from Bhatkal were Abdul Aleem Qasmi, member of (AIMPLB) , Imtiyaz Udyawar Prez. Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation, and Meera Siddiqua, Ex Gen. Secy of Khalifa Jamat-ul-Muslimeen Bhatkal.
Speaking on the occasion Moulana Khwaja Madani, lightened the status of women in Islam, and pressed the Muslim to be united on the issue. He also made a point that Shariah is the most Successful law across the Globe, and it is the only law where the status of women is uplifted.
Moulana Abdul Aleem Qasmi said the Nationwide signature campaign is grabbing good set of response and that better and positive results are expected from the campaign to bring down the Proposal of Uniform civil code in India.
The event which was held at Madrasa-e-Muhammadia Hall was attended by Muhammad Akbar Mulla, , North Kanara Muslim United Forum Kumta taluk Unit President, Abusaleha Mulla, Founder Member , North Kanara Muslim United Forum Kumta taluk. And others.
Mohsin Quazi presented the welcome note while Ali Damkar was the Master of ceremony.
