AHS begins campaign for registration of Atikaram land

Bhatkal - In the wake of rejection of Sakrama applications, Atikaram Horata Samiti yesterday launched a campaign here at circuit house, Bhatkal in the leadership of Dist. President Atikaram Horata Samiti Mr. Ravindra Naik.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ravindra Naik said most of the states have implemented the central govt's order regarding forest land which passed in the year 2005, but our state govt is reluctant in implementing this rule. We will launch a massive agitation against this as in UK district alone around 45,000 applications have been rejected asking more details from the applicants. The district administration has given 60 days deadline to resubmit the applications with all details. He also added that there is no political agenda behind our agitation; we are doing this for poor and helpless people. He also invited all the people of Bhatkal to join the massive protest march scheduled to be held on 4^th October in Sirsi.

On this occasion Bhatkal AHS President Rama Moger, M D Naik, Nagesh Devadiga, Ajeeth Bhandekeri, Nazeer Kasimji and several others were present.
