After vice president Inayatullah Shabandri, President Muzammil Kazia resigns from Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem

Bhatkal 13 May 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem's President Muzammil Kazia on May 13, resigned from the post bowing to the pressure from a section of youngsters that had eventually pressurized vice president Inayatullah Shabandri on May 12 evening to resign from his post. A section of youngster on May 12 interrupted Tanzeem's meeting after the polling day of Karnataka assembly elections and had pressurized Inayatullah Shabandri to step down from his post, allegedly for not supporting Congress in pre-poll campaigning, after Tanzeem's unilateral decision to support the party. Inayatullah, in a video that is going viral on social media platforms Inayatullah can be seen explaining his stand on the whole issue. Inayatullah in the video says, "We as Tanzeem executives can be a part of any political party, it is our right and I' am a member of Janata Dal (secular), so I had to support my party. But I being a member of Tanzeem I did not support JD(s) candidate in Bhatkal, I supported my party elsewhere and it did not effect Tanzeem in any way". He later resigned from his post on May 12. Muzammil Kazia on Sunday submitted a one-page resignation letter at Tanzeem's office. However, both of them and General Secretary Altaf Kharuri, were unavailable for comment when tried to reach.
