BENGALURU: The Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for professional undergraduate courses has been put off due to a strike called by the KSRTC Staff and Workers' Federation and a coalition of central trade unions on April 30. It will now be held on May 12 and 13. It was earlier scheduled for April 29 and 30 and May 1. The KEA on Wednesday said it had put off the test so that students wouldn't be inconvenienced by the strike. A detailed timetable will be announced in a couple of days. Candidates can log on to the KEA's website for details. As per the earlier timetable, biology and math were scheduled on April 29, and physics and chemistry on April 30. For Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates, the Kannada-language test was scheduled on May 1. Fresh dates for these subjects and categories will be announced soon, the KEA said. -TOI
