After reports of Terror Threat to Dharma Sansad goes viral, Udupi SP quashes it

Zaorez Shabab Udupi 25 Nov 2017: As soon as the rumors regarding 'Terror Threat' to the Dharma Sansad started doing the rounds on Saturday Nov 25, Dr Sanjeev M Patil, the SP of Udupi District quashed the reports terming it 'baseless' and ensured the media of all the necessary security preparations being looked after. He further said he is personally supervising every movement in the district in coordination with his team. He then requested people to not to pay heed to the rumors mills as they disturb the people and eventually hamper the police activities, while again ensuring the the police is ready to tackle every situation to maintain the safety of the visitors. "We have placed police personnel at strategic points all over the venue and city. People can move about and take part in the proceedings without any worry or fear. Check posts have been created. People visiting the venue and the nearby 'Hindu Vaibhava' exhibition have been enabled to reach the venues without any fuss. There is no need to panic," he asserted.
