After being linked to Ilyas murder case by his wife, UT Khader says 'She is my sister'

Bhatkallys News Bureau Mangaluru 19 Jan 2018: "I have concern towards Ilyas' wife and see her as my sister. I know her pain of losing her husband and do not want to cause distress to her by counter attacking her in response to her allegations of linking me with her husband's murder", said the Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, U T Khader in a press meet held here at the Circuit House on January 19, Friday. A picture of ilyas and khader had gone viral. Also, Farzana, Ilyas' wife had alleged that Khader often visited her residence at the time of elections and hit out at him for his silence after her husband was murdered on January 13. On questioned about Farzana's allegations, Khader refused to comment stating that it would hurt the sentiments of the family. He further said that he do not want to respond on her allegations and cause her more distress. Upon a picture which went on viral depicting him and Ilyas, Khader questioned that when Deepak Rao was murdered, Ilyas was highlighted who at the time of murder was in jail. But upon the arrest of Deepak's killer, the police did not reveal any information about the accused and media too failed to display the faces of accused by hiding it behind mask. He further asked why only Ilyas was targeted?? He then said that the police department is hunting for the clues in Ilyas case and will nab the culprits soon.
