Advani's Jan Chetana Yatra to enter Bhatkal on 31st Oct

Bhatkal - 28 Oct 2011: Advani's Jan Chetana Yatra will enter Bhatkal on Monday, 31st Oct. This was announced by Deputy Commissioner of UK district, Mr B N Krishnaiah at a press meet held here yesterday. Providing the details he said, Mr Advani's yatra will enter Bhatkal via Mangalore and Udupi on 31st Oct night. He will stay night in Murdeshwar Hotel proceed to Kumta next day, ie on Tuesday, 1st Dec, where Mr Advani will address public gathering.

On this occasion, DC has urged citizens to maintain peace and co-operate with the authorities in maintaining law and order in the town. Prior to this press meet, DC has conducted meeting with all Govt department officials and directed them to be more vigilant during the Yatra.

Bhatkal AC Ashok Naik, MLA Mr J D Naik, DySP Mr M Narayan and others were present in the press meet.
