Accident near Abubaker Siddique Masjid, Jamia Abad Road Bhatkal, one died

11th April 13 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Cases of road accidents in Bhatkal are on rise day by day. From yesterday, till today morning, two persons have died and many injured. A fresh incident happened today morning at around 11:30 am on Jamia Abad Road opposite Masjid Abu Bakar Siddique. In this incident, a rider on Pulsar bike collided with a truck laden with electric poles that was turning on a cross. As a result, the rider of the bike died on the spot. He has been identified as Musaddique Hallaare (46), son of Hussain Hallaare. According to information received, Musaddique, staying near Khalid bin Valeed Masjid (Gol Masjid) was riding at Jamia Abad Road at high speed when he collided with a pole of HESCOM's pole laden truck that was turning near the cross opposite to Abu Bakar Siddique Masjid. As a consequence, his bike skidded 30 meters away from the place of accident and he died on the spot. Police officials reached the spot immediately after the accident. With the cooperation of the locals, the corpse was taken to Government Hospital. Corpse is placed in the hospital morgue. After post-mortem, it will be handed over to the family members. It should be noted that cases of road accidents in Bhatkal are on rise day by day. The cause of this accident could be urgency to reach the destination or heavy traffic on narrow roads. Every driver thinks that he wants to reach first and not caring about anyone else, they drive in a manner as if they are riding in the sky. It is vital that the concerned authorities give due attention to such incidents, otherwise, in such accidents countless people will be separated from us and many people will become handicapped and thus house bound. Thus, the primary responsibility of drivers is to follow the traffic rules while driving and the concerned authorities should adopt strict attitude towards any lapses.
