ABVP holds protest rally in Bhatkal against Delhi rape

Bhatkal – 04 Jan 2012: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today held protest rally in Bhatkal against Delhi rape incident. On this occasion the protesters shouted slogan and displayed placards against the rapist and demanded strict action. The rally began from Ranginkatte and concluded at Assistant Commissioner’s office. It may be recalled that, on 16th December 2012, a para medical student in South Delhi was gang raped in a moving bus and brutally assaulted by 6 men. The victim was died on 29th December at a Hospiral in Singapore. She was airlifted from Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi for further treatment in Singapore after her health condition worsened following multiple organ failure. The incident triggered public outcry in the country and the capital punishment for the rapist have been demanded from several quarters. Bhatkallys News Service / Rizwan Gangavali
