Abdul Salam Murder case; 1 more arrested

Bhatkal - 18 Sep 2011: One more person involved in Salam murder case was arrested in Karwar with the help of Karwar police. The arrested person was identified as Jagdish moger from Belke village of Bhatkal taluk. According to the sources, Jagdish moger was absconding after the dead body of Abdul Salam was recovered from Kumta forest. He was allegedly fled from Bhatkal in his fishing boat and reached Karwar.

According to the sources, he had revealed many things during police interrogation. With his arrest, police also recovered missing 5 lakh rupees which he had allegedly hidden in his neighbour's house.

As per the information available with 'Bhatkallys.com' from different sources, four persons who took Medical Salam to Sirsi for a land deal overpowered him and murdered him by tying nylon rope around his neck. Later they dumped his body in Kumta forest.
