Abdul Muhaimin Matta wins Slow Bike Competition

Bhatkal - 21 Marh 2011: A slow bike competition organized by BAS Motors in association with Bhatkal Rotary Club saw huge turnout. Around 60 motorists participated in the competition which was held at Police Grounds. Prior to this competition a bike rally in support of Indian Cricket team for the their World Cup campaign and National Integrity was held. The rally began from BAS Motors and after passing through NH-17, Shamsuddin Circle, Flower Market and Maruthi Temple concluded at Police Ground.
In slow bike competition Mr Abdul Muhaimin Matta grabbed first position in Hero Honda as well as in the general category and he was awarded with Trophy and a cash prize of Rs 4000/-. Mr Waleed Ruknuddin and Mr Basith Ajaib secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively in Hero Honda category while Mr Jaleed Afrika and Mr Mohammed Zarrin secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively in the general category and awarded with trophies and cash prizes. All participants have also received one litre petrol and one wash coupon.
On this occasion Rotary Club President Mr S M Khan, BAS Motors' Mr Rounaq Mohtesham, Municipality President Mr Inayatullah Shabandri, Bhatkal DySP Mr M Narayan, CPI Mr Guru Mathur and others were present on the stage.
