8.49 lakh students to appear for SSLC exam

BENGALURU, March 28, 2016:Around 8.49 lakh students across the State will be writing their Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations that will begin this Wednesday. The examination will end on April 13. Speaking at a press conference on Monday, K.S. Sathyamurthy, Commissioner for Public Instruction, said that students from 5,117 schools will write their examinations in 3,082 centres across the State. Mr. Sathyamurthy said that 138 centres have been identified as sensitive and hypersensitive.
