8 injured in road accident on Bhatkal National Highway

Bhatkal - 05 May 2012: 8 persons injured in a road accident at different locations on Bhatklal National Highway yesterday.

The first incident took place near Anfal Super Market wherein a speeding car knocked down cyclist identified as Krishna (14) from Kargedde. He was injured and taken to Bhatkal Govt Hospital and later shifted to Kundapura Hospital.

The second accident took place in Shirali near Kamat Bakery wherein a mini lorry collided with scooter. As a result of this accident 2 persons indentified as Manju Laxmi Narayan and Nagraj Narayan Moger from Alvekodi were injured.

The third accident was reported from Honnavar wherein two bikes collided with each other injuring 4 persons. The injured have been identified as Mahadeva Naik, Asha Naik, Manshvi Naik and Hyder Ali.
