7 UAE students accused of bullying to appear in court

Kalba's Public Prosecution referred seven students involved in the viral bullying incident to court. A video of the bullying attack inside a school bus went viral on social media last week. They are expected to appear in Kalba's court on Thursday. Two of the defendants were sent to a juvenile center, affiliated to the Ministry of the Interior. Five of the students were charged for the school bus attack and two for stepping in to avenge the victim. Charges include assault, verbal abuse, and filming and sharing a video on social media without the victim's consent, Emarat Al Youm reported. The victim's father said his son did not inform him about the attack. He was shocked when he received a video of his son through Whatsapp. He then filed a report about the incident.
