67th Republic Day celebrated in Bhatkal with fervour

At the Taluka (YMSA) ground, a function was organized for public wherein police officials, NCC and school students held a march past. As part of the function's main event, Assistant Commissioner of Bhatkal Chidananda Vatare unfurled the flag and saluted it. Addressing the audience, he shed light on the importance of constitution. On this occasion, where a number of officials from various departments were felicitated for their exemplary performances, school students were also awarded prizes for march past. Apart from this, flag hoisting ceremonies were held at Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem, Anjuman College, IAUHS, AITM, Shams School, Ali Public School, and various schools and institutions in Bhatkal. - ARF
