4 persons injured in separate road accidents in Bhatkal

Bhatkal - 02 June 2012: Two persons injured when a truck knocked down scooter near Tenginagundi cross, Bhatkal. The injured have been identified as Deepak Shetty (33) from Shirali and his wife Roopa (27). The accident took place at around 11:00 am when a lorry hit the bike and runaway but the vehicle was stopped at Shirali check post and the driver was arrested.

In another two incidents one near Ranginkatte, and another near Hotel City Light 2 more persons injured. The injured have been identified as Mohan Moger and Yamuna Moger.

A case has been registered at Bhatkal Police Station and the PSI Mr Prakash Devadiga is investigating the case.
