33-year old woman commits suicide in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 23 October 2019: A 33-year old woman on Tuesday committed suicide by hanging herself at her home here at Shirali. The woman has been identified as Savitha Vasant Naik (33), a resident of Shirali. Savitha reportedly hanged herself when she was alone at home as her husband had been to work. The reason behind Savitha’s extreme step is yet to be ascertained. Savitha however was depressed over some reason from last few days. A case has been registered at Bhatkal Rural Police Station regarding the incident.
